Treatment

We would like to produce a mixed media short film using different techniques. We envision a very crafty and organic look & feel that adds warmth and a certain human imperfection to the whole production. We want to show this heartfelt and soulful story with the feeling that it was made by human hands.

We are very interested in the idea of giving the feeling of “live post-production” by projecting the backgrounds of stars and the animations of the waves of the sea (with a 2D look) on models of the shore. And for the seabed, project secondary animations of schools of fish and the dance of jellyfish.

The STARFISH, the STAR IN THE SKY, the WHALE, the CRABS, the HUMANS and secondary characters are all CG and will be seamlessly
integrated into the environments.

AD&D 2022 edition
